Every streamer knows the ceiling of a home setup: the flatmate who picks stream night to hoover, the bedroom backdrop you have stared at for three years, the lighting that makes a sponsored segment look like a hostage video. Ready Player One at Story + Space in Colwick, minutes east of Nottingham city centre, is a YouTube and gaming studio built to remove that ceiling, with a ready desk set, a professional on-camera look and a streaming setup you do not have to build, cable or troubleshoot yourself.
You go live to your own channels, on your own account, with your own stream key, whether that is Twitch, YouTube or Kick, so nothing about your audience or your workflow changes except how it all looks and sounds. Equipment, lighting and technical support are included in every booking, and at £45/hr it is the most affordable room in the building, priced for creators who book on a weekly or fortnightly content cadence rather than as a one-off treat.
Ready Player One starts at £45/hr, the lowest rate in the building, with half-day and full-day options for batch-filming. Credit-based memberships from £99/month suit streamers and YouTubers working to a weekly schedule. All prices exclude VAT, added at checkout.
Your own channel, always. You connect with your own account and stream key on Twitch, YouTube, Kick or wherever you broadcast, so your audience, alerts and analytics carry on exactly as normal.
Tell us about your setup when you book and we will confirm exactly what is in the room versus what to bring. Plenty of streamers prefer their own machine with their scenes and settings already configured, and the desk set is built to accommodate that.
Technical support is included in every booking, so there is help on hand rather than you debugging alone while chat watches a frozen frame. If you are planning a big live broadcast, mention it when you book so we can prepare with you.
No, and the difference matters. Ready Player One is built for a presenter at a desk going to camera or going live. If your format is two or more people talking around a table, The Round Table or The Gathering will fit better.
Bookings are open. Founding member pricing is still available for the first 50 members - leave your email for the details.
