Story + Space

Product Photography Studios for Brands That Sell Online

Product photography is a volume game. An e-commerce brand does not need one hero shot, it needs hundreds: listings, lifestyle imagery, seasonal campaigns, social content, all consistent and all refreshed every time the range changes. Shooting that on a kitchen table caps how professional your brand can look, and outsourcing every image gets expensive fast. Story + Space in Colwick, minutes east of Nottingham city centre, gives you studio-quality conditions at an hourly rate that makes shooting in batches the obvious move.

Three of our nine studios earn their keep for product work. Cover Story offers soft light and pre-styled sets for lifestyle imagery, The Pass puts food and drink products in a real working kitchen, and The Loft adds an industrial edge for homeware, grooming and tech. Professional cameras, lighting and audio equipment are included in every booking with technical support on hand, whether you shoot it yourself or bring your photographer.

FAQ

No. Professional cameras, lighting and audio equipment are included in every booking and technical support is on hand, so plenty of brand owners shoot their own product imagery. If you prefer, bring your photographer and they will find everything ready to go.

Absolutely. Photographers regularly book the spaces for client work, and having three distinct looks under one roof means you can offer clients varied sets without changing location.

Soft, styled and lifestyle-led suits Cover Story. Food and drink belongs in The Pass, where products can be shown genuinely in use. Anything that wants edge and texture, from grooming to homeware to tech, suits The Loft. Many brands book two in one visit.

More than you would expect, if you arrive organised. Brands that prep products, plan shots per set and work through a list typically clear a season's worth of listings in a half-day, which is exactly what the half-day rate is for.
